The chart below gives some of the most reported issues among people living in UK cities in 2008

The bar chart illustrates the proportions of the major problems faced by the residents living in seven various cities in the United Kingdom 2008, divided into three categories, namely health services, education and training, and air pollution. Overall, the complaints registered against health services were the most common problem in all cities in 2008 except in Glasgow and London. In addition, air pollution was the least of a problem in the cities. The problems related to health services comprised the highest percentage in Belfast and Cardiff at nearly 59% and 57% respectively, which was followed by that of Birmingham at approximately 55%. For the other four cities, the proportion of issues was around 50%. ok Glasgow and London suffered from by far the biggest problem about education and training, with both almost 55%, while in Belfast and Birmingham the figures were slightly lower, at 52%. In addition, the problems concerning education and training reported in New Castle and Cardiff were around 50%. However, the lowest educational issues were reported in Manchester, at only 45%. For air pollution, the problem was reported with the lowest percentage in all cities, which ranges between about 5% and approximately 15%.
