The graph illustrates the percentage of Canadian donors donated money to charitable organizations between 2000 and 2015. There was a notable difference between percentage of donors in 2000 and 2015. For 18-24 age group, 20 percent of them gave money to charitable organizations in 2000. However, the percentage dropped significantly to 10 percent in 2015. Likewise, nearly 20 percent of people between 25 to 34 donated money to organizations in 2000, then the percentage decreased noticeably to 25 percent in 2015. The percentage of donors between 35 to 49 also declined from approximate 38 percent in 2000 to 34 percent in 2015. Nevertheless, there was a significant upward trend in the percentage of Canadian donors between 50 to 64 and 65 and over. In 2000, nearly 35 percent of people between 50 to 64 gave money to charitable organizations, then the percentage increased to approximate 37 percent in 2015. Similarly, the percentage of donors between 65 and over increased from 31 percent in 2000 to nearly 35 percent in 2015. Overall, the percentage of Canadian donors between 18 to 49 decreased during the time, while the percentage of donors between 50 and over increased.
