This chart shows the breakdown of book loan from Vancouver public library into the categories adult fiction, Adult non-fiction and Children's book. This period covers from 2003 to 2012. Adult fiction accounted for over half of loans every year, starting from nearly 60% in year 2003. However, it slightly decreased till 2007 then agian rose in 2008 and had a mere changes in the folling years and closed on nearly 50% in 2012. On the other hand, children's book loan accounted about 20 percent in 2003 and goes up in the next following years. however, it fell down in 2008 and 2011. On the contrary, again picked up in 2012 with approximate growth of 25%. Around 20% loans were added in adult non-fiction in 2003 and continued till few years. There were not any special differences seen in this category. It closed by merely changes in 2012 by 25%. Overall, adult fiction had taken loan most significantly by 60% and it is the highest book loan from Vancouver public library.
