The histogram depicts details about percentage of Canadians donating funds to charitable organisations for various age groups for the years 2000 and 2015. The different age groups start from 18 and go beyond 65, these are categorised in 5 age brackets.
Overall, the percent Canadians for the first three age groups showed more donations in the year 2000 and less for the year 2015. On the contrary, the last two age groups show more percentage of donations in the year 2015 as compared to 2000.
For the year 2000, the maximum percentage of donations were made by people in the age group 35-49. Whereas, the minimum percentage donations were made by people in the age group 18-24. For the year 2015, the case is different, maximum proportion of donors were in the age bracket 50-64 and minimum percentage donors were in the age group 18-24.
Four out of five groups show very slight difference in the contributions made to the charities. However, the starkest difference can be noticed in the age bracket of 18-24 which dropped nearly 10 % for the year 2015.
