The bar chart illustrates the percentage of different types of transport used to commute to work in one city in New Zealand in 1996 and 2006. Overall, the private car or truck remained the most popular way of travelling to work, while other categories of transportation were deeply unpopular. To begin, private car or truck stoad at 50% in 1996, which was the highest point of the given chart. The propotion of commuters who preferred company vehicle and worked at home was the same, at the percentage of slight; y under 10%. Likewise, bike and foot travelers were approximately around 7%. Howerver, other forms of transport wew taken by an insignificant amount of workers (less than 5%). Its is clearly noted that in 2006, the numbers of drivers who travelled to work bt privat car or truck experienced a derease by more than 10% to nearly 39%.
