The graph depicts the population trend between the years 1950-2055 (i. e. past, present, and future). We can see that the population in Japan was 8. 1 million in the year 1950, which is the least ever recorded between the years 1950-2055. From the years 1951-1965, the population trend is less than 100 million and ranges between 90-99. 2million. The graph shows the consistent population growth between the years 1951-2005. The population was consistently growing and recorded as 127. 8 million in the year 2005 which is the highest ever recorded. We can see a slight decline in the population from 2001-2055, the population dropped from 128. 8 million in 2005 to 89. 9 million in the year 2055.
