The bar chart demonstrates families percent in owning and renting residence in England and Wales from 1918 to 2011. Overall rented residence considerably residence considerably fell. On the other hand house owners gradually grown. The rented houses was more than 70 percent in 1918 and it decreased to 30 percent in 2001. But it slightly increased around 35 percent in 2011. While the percentages of rented residence was at a same percent around 70 in 1939. The numbers of households owning the house was just around 20 percent in 1918 then gradually increased and peaked in 2001 around 70 percent. Also in 1939 and 1953 the number of families in owned residence was same with approximately 30 percent. Besides the figures of both group was exactly the same in 1971 with 50 percent.
