The below figure demonstrates predictions about students of three world languages between 2020 and 2030. These three major world languages are English, Spanish, and Mandarin. As expected, the estimated number of students for each language predicts to be raised between 2020 and 2030. Although the number of students in all three languages will be increased until 2030, the number of English students is estimated to be decreased from 2024 to 2026. The rate of increase for the Mandarin language is much more than the other two languages during this period, which starts from 100 million students from 2020 and predicts to be about 600 after ten years. It is obvious that the number of people who study English in 2020 is much more and not comparable (about 550 million) to Spanish and Mandarin (about 200 million and 100 million respectively). Spanish and Mandarin are two languages that have more students than English in the world. In which the number of Spanish students is two times higher than Mandarin in 2020, but it is expected that the number of Mandarin people is going to be more than Spanish in 2030. It is worth mentioning that the number of people who will study these two languages (Spanish and Mandarin) is predicted to be almost the same between 2024 and 2026. Overall, the number of students who want to study three major languages (English, Spanish, and Mandarin) is estimated to be increased gradually year by year between 2020 and 2030, except for English from 2024 to 2026. English is the most popular language between these years.
