The diagram illustrated the rate of movie visitors in the USA from Monday to Sunday in 2003, 2005 and 2007. In general, most American people went to cinemas on Saturday. Furthermore, the proportion of different days slightly varied from year to year except Friday. In 2003, there was about 40% of American people going to movie theaters on Saturday, the number was significantly higher than the others days. Meawhile, the percent of Monday was only 10%. Afterwards, these figures rose to 45% and 14% in 2005 then dropped to 43% and 13% respectively in 2007. At the beginning of the period, the rate of cinema goers on Friday and Sunday was 30%. Subsequently, the graph shows a slight increase of Sunday in 2005 then the year 2007 witnessed a modest decline in the figure. In contrast, the percentage of Friday remained stable from 2003 to 2007. The proportion of American movie visitors on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday ranged from 13% to 20% in 2003. After that, while there was an erratic behaviours of the others, Wednesday halved at the end of the period.
