Overall, it can be concluded that car was used by Denmark as a means of commuting at 12, 500 kilometers per year whereas the usage of that mode of transportation was the least in Spain and Germany. Surprisingly, it is can be inferred that the Danish made us of various other alternatives than people from other countries. Bus, train, metro and bike were used around more than 3000 kilometers by them per year. However, when compared to the French and the British public transport were preferred the least (1000 kilometers per year and 900 kilometers per year respectively). When inspected more carefully on the commuting times, British drivers spent 47 minutes per day for to reach their destination which is the most highest in contrast to Denmark and Italy, where commuting time is significantly lower despite their high usage of public transport.
