The proportion of boys and girls playing particular sports in New Zealand in 2002 is shown in the bar graph. It is evident that their sporting preference tended to be different. Soccer was the most popular sports among the boys, proofed with the high participation rate of almost 25%. Meanwhile, the sports with least popularity between boys was netball with only below than 5% of participation. In contrast, netball became the most played sports the girls with 25% while the lowest participation was shown in cricket with approximately 1%. The other sports such as swimming any other sports were also demanded among New Zealand’s children with approximately 20%. However, the tennis, basketball, martial arts, and athletics were less popular with only below than 10% participants
