In 2009, the mobile phones’ turnover from Samsung stood about 230 millions, compared to around 430 million units in Nokia. However, the opposite trend was seen with a dramatic rise to nearly 450 million in Samsung company and a significant drop to approximately 250 million units in Nokia. Especially, Samsung became the market leader when its figure surpassed Nokia brand’s sales in 2013.
Apple’s sales experienced a mild growth from merely 30 million in 2009 to roughly 150 million units in 2013. By contrast, LG earned just over 100 million and saw a slight decline to about 70 million units at the same time. Moreover, ZTE‘s sales remained relatively unchanged around 50 million units over 5-year period.
