The above bar graph gives a breakdown of the spending time amount of each teacher in different schools in Japan, Spain, Iceland, and USA, in 2001. It was measured in hours. Taking into account the statistical data, the main trend set forth the broadly increase of the spending teaching time from "Primary" to "Upper Secondary", passing by "Lower secondary". While the chart emphasised the important increased american spending time amount towards its different educational levels, peaking at 750 hours for Primary, and to finally reach a high point at 1100hours for Upper Secondary. The least increase was highlighted for Japan with 600hours in Primary up to 700 hours for Upper Secondary. Whilst the spanish and icelanic figures of Upper Secondary are equals with a share of 900hours, the amounts are slightly differents for the others. Spain counts 100-spending hours more than Iceland for both of the types of schools
