Overall, it can be seen that two areas are Latin America and North America have the highest of the percentages of the population living. Also, Africa and Asia have the lowest of the population living of the percentages. In 1950, the figure of the population living stood at 15% and 18% in two areas which is Africa and Asia respectively. This number then increased steadily to reach approximately 64% in this year. After some fluctuation, in 2007 witnessed a dramatic rise in the proportion of population living. In contrast, the most significant change is Oceania sharp fall in the population living in 2007.
