The above diagrams provide information about the changes made in the network of roads connected with the City Hospital. The modifications occurred between 2007 and 2010. To start with, in the plans it is evident that two roundabouts were added on the north and on the south side of Hospital Road. They are located exactly at the junction with Ring Road and at the intersection with City Road. In addition to the roundabouts, the common car park for staff and public, once rectangular and situated on the left side of Hospital Road, was reduced in size due to the addition of the roundabouts. A separate car park, reserved for staff, was built on the east side of City Hospital, whereas, a new car park, adjacent to the right branch of the ring, was provided for public use. In terms of public means of transport, while in 2007 a number of bus stops were present along Hospital Road, by 2010 all buses had started arriving at and leaving from the newly-built bus station in front of the staff car park. On the whole, the maps indicate that the main modifications in the area concern the access to the zone where the hospital is located. Whilst the circuit of roads on the western and northern side of the Hospital remained unchanged after 2007, a new car park was added and the T-junction with Hospital Road was modified.
