Overall, all electrical appliances increased although rising was more significant for vacuum cleaner and refrigerator. The number of hours per week for washing clothes, preparing meals, and cleaning experienced a downward trend. Refrigerators showed the most remarkable rise, beginning at just over 0%in 1920, surging up to 100% in 1980, and then remaining steady until 2010. Vacuum cleaners started higher at 30% these rosed, slightly slower than refrigerators, to 100% by 2000. In contrast, the percentages of washing machines began at 40%, climbed to 70% by 1960, then fell slowly and recovered to finish the period over 60% in 2019. On the second chart, time spent on washing clothes, preparing meals, and cleaning fell down significantly from 50 hours to 20 in 40 years time period.
