The figures for the numbers of televisions in Sweden, France and the UK are simitar, at between 500 and 600 sets per 1000 people In almost all countries, the number of PCs is lower than the number of televisions. The biggest gaps are in France and Saudi Arabia. France has twice as many televisions as computers, and in Saudi Arabia, there are 200 televisions per 1000 people compared to just 50 PCs. In contrast, in Sweden, the number of computers, at 500, is almost the same as the figure for televisions.
