The table illustrates the variations in consumption of amounts of fast food, by the people of Melbourne in three different time periods. The data is recorded in units. Overall, in 2005 Hamburgers and Fried Chicken were highly popular when compared to the rest three and salad was preferred by very less people in that year. Whereas, the consumption of salads witnessed a strikingly upward trend and is predicted to reach its peak by 2025. In contrast, the consumption of Fried rice and noodles has slightly improved and is estimated to remain stable hereafter. Focusing, on Hamburgers and Fried Chicken their popularity experienced almost a similar trend, with 40 and 35 units in 2005 and 38 and 37 units at present. A few fluctuations are predicted and by 2025 they are expected to reach their highest figures of 51 units and 45 units of Hamburgers and Fried Chicken respectively. However, looking at salads people started eating more anmounts and the trend shows a striking upward pattern. The sales of salads jumped significantly from 5 units in 2005 to 15 units in 2021 which are estimated to surge rapidly to 41 units by 2025. Whereas, both the chinese fast foods reamined less popular with 6 units each in 2005 and the sales were forecasted to be levelled out at 9 units until 2005.
