task 1: how people aged 25-34 are housed in the UK 5BJqP
The bar chart illustrates a number of people aged 25-34 either have rent or bought houses in the United Kingdom. Moreover, it shows this change over eleven years. Since 2004, homeowners have been at their highest percentage which was nearly 60%, in contrast, they have experienced a slight decrease of almost 20% during an eleven-year period. Furthermore, in 2011 and 2012, the percentage has remained unchanged, whereas, in 2014, homeowners have reached the lowest percentage during this period which is almost 40%. The number of people renting has been increased gradually from 20%, since 2004, and has reached its peak which is 50% in 2014. However, in 2011 and 2012, the percentages have remained the same for the two groups that were almost the same for both. In conclusion, there has been a consistent decrease in homeowners and a gradual increase in home renters which is clearly visible from the bar chart.
