The chart shows the average age at first marriage and the number of children per woman in nine different countries. Overall, Kenyan, Indian, and Chinese women have the lowest age at first marriage but the highest number of children. However, Denish families have the highest age at first marriage with a comparatively low birth number. Kenya has the youngest age at first marriage, 22 years old, yet the highest number of children per woman, more than three children per woman, followed by India and china with the same pattern of low age at first marriage. On the other hand, Denmark has the highest average age at first marriage, 33 years old, but less than two children per family. The United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Australia followed the same trend as Denmark having marriage age between 31 and 33 years old, and below two children per family. The United States and Brazil prefer to get married on average age of 27 years old; however, the United States families have more than two children, compared to Brazillian families who usually have less than two children.
