table chart on the population growth in Iceland

table chart on the population growth in Iceland QKLqw
This given bar chart gives data about the evolution of Icelandic population growth by age from 1990 to 2020. In the graph are represented several age categories, namely: people over 65 years old, people between 55 and 64 years old, people between 25 and 54 years old, between 15 and 24 years old and between 0 and 14 years old. The measure is made with percentages from 0 to 50. Overall, it can be seen that the chart shows a volatile performance over the 30 years accounted for. While in the category with inhabitants in Iceland between 25 and 54 years old there is an upward tendency, in the category with people over 65 years old there is a downward trend. So, overall, does the chart show a general growth of the population, or a decrease? And which category is the most favored? It is clear that the number of people living in Iceland, between the ages of 25 and 54 was the only category with increase in the chart with over 30 percent in 1990 and almost 50 percent in 2020. On the other hand, the rest of the categories had a downward or stable tendency. For example, the number of people living in Iceland in the 15-24 age group had a downward trend, reaching less than 10 percent in 2020, while the category with people between 55-64 years old remained almost stable, dropping by only about 3 percent in the 30 years.
