The line graph illustrates data about the utilization of social networks in America, between 2005-2015, a ten-year period and three major age groups. It can be clearly seen that, between 2005-2008, the internet usage by young adults is significantly increasing by almost 50 per cent. In addition, the trend is gradually moving upward and reaching a peak in 2013, by 80%. However, the illustration registered a short drop in the frequency use of social media, but the trend recovered to its initial value in 2015. According to the data, in 2015, the last two categories present limited interest in using social apps. By the following years, the two groups have a progressive rise and similar movements. In contrast, the elderly division shows a noticeable decrease by 20% compared to middle-age. Between 2013-2015, the progression lines levelled off for both age classes, at 70% and 50%. Overall, the young people present the highest percentage in social media usage, while the lowest is represented by the elderly individuals. Also, it is interesting to note that, all three age divisions followed an uprising path over a period of ten years.
