The illustrations below depicts an architecture of a wave -energy machine and it's corresponding site. The wave-energy machine is divided into two Chambers comprising the upper and the lower chambers. The upper chamber has direct contact with the atmosphere while the lower chamber is embedded in the sea. Wave flow from the sea is directed into the lower chamber and moves upwards passing through a vent that connects the upper and lower chamber, it is given out into the atmosphere. Concurrently, atmospheric air flows into the upper chamber via a vent, moves in a downward motion into the lower chamber and into the water levels. The design of the machine gives room for two Chambers and two venst which allow wave and atmospheric air pass through them simultaneously. The upper chamber is connected to an electricity generator which with the aid of the turbines detects the pressure of air flow. The machine has two installation costs namely: the high and low installation cost. The the low installation cost is responsible to producing small waves - low output while that of high installation cost generates large waves -high outputs.
