The diagram shows how matches are made. It is a complicated process which has 8 ministages and 2 bigger stages. The product is being made by preparing, chopping, soaking and drying. In the 1st big stage there are 4 steps. The first step is to peel the logs. This is made by a sharp blade. After that is coming the chopping process which creates the format of the matches. The third step is soaking in chemicals, after it they are go into a dryer. In the 2nd big stage there are 5 steps. The matchsticks go through a metal duct into a storage area. The stored sticks are inserted into a perforated steel belt. The matches go into some chemicals which are paraffin wax, based chemicals and finally tip chemicals. These are give the final look of the matchsticks. After a drying progress, they are packed in little boxes.
