The bar chart described the number of houses built in two different city Derby and Nottingham from 2000-20009. Overall, the number of houses which built in Derby tended to increase steadily while Nottingham saw the up and down irregular of number. In the first 2 years, Derby had the same number of houses which was 40 while Nottingham had 50 houses in 2000 and 55 in 2001. From 2002 to2007, there was a significant change in Derby when the amount of houses continuous to increased from 80 houses in 20002 and stopped at 110 in 2007. Nottingham jumped from 30 houses in 2002 to 70 houses in 2005 after slumped to just 10 houses in 2006. In 2007, Nottingham had doubled the number of houses compared to 2005 and reached nearly 200 houses. At the end of period, Derby soared in 2008 and 2009 with 270 houses and 345 houses respectively, while Nottingham just had the number which was 20 houses in 2008 after peaked at 250 houses in 20009
