Preference of elders in USA?

The line graph illustrates the preferred activities in terms of percentage, by senior citizens in United States of America during their free time from the year 1980 to 2010. Overall, three activities shows an upward trend which are as Hiking, Reading, and Surfing the internet. On the other hand, Watching TV and Theatre depicts only slight variations over the period of time. From 1980 till 2010 craze of Hiking increases a lot among elders which can be seen from constant growth on graph from 20% to 80%. While Surfing the internet was the least preferred activity in 1980 around 5 % only which rose to 10% in 2000 but display a significant jump in 2010 up to 50%. Furthermore, only 30% were like to read in 1980 and it fell dramatically to 20% in 2000, albeit in 2010 in jumped and reached nearly 55%. Moreover, in 1980 50% elders enjoy theatre and it exhibit a downward trend till 1990 and reached around 30%. Although, after that it rose and went close to 40% in 2010. Last but not least, watching TV was 60% in 1980 and it remains same till 2010 with slight increment in 2000 where it went to 70% approximately.
