The graph below presents differences in population growth in India and China from 2000 to 2050 years. Total populations are divided by countries and shown in billions.
After detailed consideration, a rapid increase in the Indian population comes to the front, even though in the early 00’s China had a higher population. A slight fluctuation occurred already in 2005 when the Indian population grew by 100 million individuals. Similarly, the total population grew over the period from 2005 to 2020. When it comes to the Chinese, gradual growth in numbers can be seen. In comparison with India, China had higher rates since 2000, but from year to year, the difference is becoming less.
Also, according to the graph, predictably 2030 population of China and India will be matching. On the one hand, it means that the total population will be around 1. 45 billion. But on the other hand, the Indian population will increase when, because of the restrictions on childbirth, the Chinese population decrease in the future.
Overall, the most marked change in populations of these two countries is the gap between them, which is increasing every year. Unfortunately, the tendency is going to develop, and the Indian population will outgrow the Chinese one.
