Overall, the general trend observed is that more numbers of women as compared to men and children meet the daily requirements of fruit and vegetables consumption in all the three years while children maintained the worst performance of all.
In terms of women, the numbers increased steadily from 25% in 2002 to 32% in 2006. However, there was a dramatic fall to 26% by 2010.
A similar trend was observed in the case of men. In 2002, 22% of men met the daily requirements which rose to 26% in 2006 before declining to 26% by 2010.
