The line graph demonstrates the number of working people per one pensioner with forecast for the future years in the United Kingdom, starting 2010 up until 2034. Since 2010, the number of people with a job has seen a slight increase. Although, it is predicted that this number will experience a downfall, especially after 2025. During the ten year period, the proportion of workers rose from roughly 3. 15 in 2010 in to 3. 25 in 2020, which was its peak. After this, it started to decrease. In the next five years, the number of people in work per retired person is projected to fall gradually. After a drop to under 3. 10, there will be a climb that will last for two years. In 2027, the likelihood shows that the number of working UK citizens will plunge by 0. 45, hitting the lowest point at approximately 2. 70 in 2033. Despite this, the number will witness a slight growth by the end of the period shown. Overall, it is evident that number of working people is lowering, while there is a rise in the number of pensioners. Over the 24 year period, the number of people with a job will decrease by 0, 4 per cent.
