The graph represents the proportion of individuals of different ages in one city who visited music performances between 2010 and 2015. Overall, there was a general rising trend in numbers of attendees among people of 16-24 years. They were the most keen on going to concerts throughout almost the whole period along with middle-aged citizens, whose numbers also used to be quite high despite the slight fluctuation. In contrast, the least proportion of visitors was in the 75+ age group. Concerts’ attendees of 16-24 years old accounted for 40 percent in the beginning of the period and their numbers had skyrocketed to around 55 percent by 2011, while the proportion of people between 45 and 54 years old had slumped significantly from around 53 percent to 40 by the same year. However, the percentages of people in both age groups had been steadily growing from 2011 to 2015. The number of young people peaked at 70 percent by the end of the period and became the highest, while the number of middle-aged attendees recovered to about 55 percent. By comparison, individuals of the category / the age group of 75+ years old accounted for the least proportion of concerts’ visitors throughout the whole period, starting from the point of only 10 percent in 2010 and reaching 20 percent by 2015.
