It is absolutely right that using social media in terms of having communication is beneficial. Take students studying in different countries, for example. They use social networking sites such as WhatsApp, Twitter and Telegramm to discuss educational topics and assignments. As a result, they broad their knowledge as well as horizon. Additionally, with the help of this trend introverts who are quiet and shy, and do not enjoy being with other people might have made new friends that have a lot in common and also there is possibility for being extrovert by improving communication skills. Likewise, instead of mailing something and having it take a few days to get there or even paying to mail it, we can go right on the web and have it sent to someone in a matter of seconds. So the benefits are enormous. On the other hand, along with the advantages social media, however, has largely disadvantages but it is mainly profitable development. Apart from the positive impact mentioned above, it conveys inauthentic expression of feelings and decrease face to face connection. In conclusion, despite the absolute negative affects of the social media, I personally believe that positives such as expanding knowledge, saving money and time outweigh any negatives.
