Overall, the highest percentage of all people consuming fruit and vegetables was (were) women, while children consistently accounted for the lowest proportion (can been seen). The percentage of Women who ate fruits and vegetables has (had)increased rapidly from 21% in 2001 to 35% in 2006 and has (had) fallen down to 30% in 2008. Women and Children ate more fruits and vegetables than Men(’s). From 2001 to 2003, the percentage of Men and Children who ate fruits and vegetables remained stable at 16% and 12% respectively. From that point, Men reached gradually to a significant (percentage of) about 27% in both 2006 and 2007. From 2007 there was a gradual fall and reached 27 percent in 2008 )In 2007, the percentage of Children who ate portions of fruits and vegetables increased to 27% and decreased to 26% in the (final year)2008.
