Majority of people have phone with internet nowadays. The effects of owning easily a smartphones can not be totally measured yet. Altought there are some disadvantages of using this kind of device, the positives outweight the negatives. It is my firm belief that this technologic revolution brings many global positives impact. I feel this way for several reasons which I will explain in the following paragraphs. To begin with, I strongly believe that because of the price and the ease of buying a phone with internet, many people are making daily use of phones and consequently it connects more people. My personal experience has taught me that it is an amazing experience to own one. I live far away from my family and because every member has a phone we can easily talk with each other. Every day I talk with them, which makes me feel closer and avoid a lot of bad feelings of living abroad such as homesick. Few years ago, living in another country it was more difficult as people could not talk so frequently with their families because there were not smartphones, . So it was possible to reach each other by paying expensive rates. Talking about society, I think that everybody receive benefitials in communicating better and chepear with family members, friends and colleagues. Moreover, it is a fact that people nowadays have more access to information. Education is the key point to a society's progress. This kind of devices makes people find information so quickly and easily. Moreover, there are many online groups that are aimed to discuss about an specific subject which results in everybody beeing informed. In my opinion this is awesome. I am participating in a Facebook's groups related to politics. Every day there are people posting different content and also expressing different opinion about it. So, we share a lot of information and we are able to develop our social skills. Some years ago, you would be able to search for a specific subject just by reading newspapers and talking with the social group that were closer to you. Nowadays there are no limitations we have many different sources of information and we can talk about it with people from all over the world. To conclude, it is known that smartphones have an global impact in our society. Some people think that it is harmful, however without the use of these devices it would not be possible to communicate easily with people, to find, to have disticnts ways of keeping people informed and people would not be able to disccus subjects with others that are physically far away.
