Dinners are meant to be enjoyed, and could be done anyhow it pleases the people involved. Some people believe that having dinner with their friends would be enjoyed when they dine together at a restaurant. Whereas, some don’t believe so. In my opinion, I believe that having dinner in my house and I cooking for them without them contributing by buying the ingredients is the best. I feel this way for a few reasons, which I would explore in the following essay. First of all, going to the restaurant will be expensive for some of my friends. . With the recent recession, people don’t have the luxury of going to a restaurant to eat when they have bills to pay. For instance, one of my closest friends Janes lost her job as an accountant in a corporate organization. She was the person solely responsible for paying her old parents hospital bills and house rent. She survived by working as a waitress in a restaurant. The last time our group of friends asked her to join us for dinner at a restaurant, she refused rightly because she can’t afford it. I felt awful about her not been able to join us. As a result, I decided that any time there are any suggestions about having dinner, I would take up the responsibility of cooking in my house and inviting them over. In addition, I have a very spacious house that can accommodate my friends and their families. Often times, when people go out in large numbers to dine. There is always a problem of space and they might end up not eating together. For example, the last time we had dinner with my friends. It was not thrilling at all. We all come out at an agreed eatery, with all of our immediate families. We were like 20 in numbers, it was a huge issue for the management of the eatery to keep us at one table. They had to separate all of us and this action made us not to enjoy the purpose of the outing. In conclusion, I firmly believe that my friends should have dinner in my house. This is because going to the restaurant would be expensive for some of my friends, and because my house is spacious.
