The given graph illustrates the energy consumption from fossil and non fossil fuels in UK in million of oil or coal equivalent for a period of 4 years from 1992. The graph tries to emphasis the usage of important energies which include nuclear and hydro electricity, coal, petroleum and natural gases. The consumption of petroleum maintained a wide fluctuations. But maintained a relatively steady. And also a peak level of 80 tines had been attained in the year 1994. It is said to be in first position. The second and fourth positions were hold by coal and nuclear, hydro electricity respectively. More than 60tones of coal had been preferred in 1992 whereas it diminished to about 55 tones in 1995. The least and considerably steady pattern is been maintained by nuclear and hydroelectricity. Consumptions were about 20 tones and been a minority of total one fifth but maintained through out the period. The most striking and noticeable changes are about the natural gases. It reveals a markedly different trend. In the beginning it had maintained a second last position with usage about 55 tones then it had been jumped with a steady increase to almost first position to 78tones. After the second half of 1994 depicts more drastic changes.
