The line graph illustrates information about the number of cases of X disease in Someland for a thirty-five-year period between 1960 and 1995. In 1960 the incidence of X disease was 100. This number remained steadily by 1965. Then the rate of X disease increased gradually to 200 by 1970 and continued to increase but more dramatically to 500 in 1975. Between 1975 and 1980 the prevelance of X disease remained stable at 500 at which point the figures began to decline and had dropped to 350 by 1985 and then plummetted to zero. Someland stayed free of the disease during the next five years too.
