Impacts of globalization on one aspect of life.

Globalization is the word used to describe the increasing connectedness and interdependence of world cultures and economies. One of the aspects of life that are influenced due to globalization is culture. Firstly, thanks to globalization, the worlds’ culture has made significant strides. The development of transport system contributes to an increase in the number of immigrants entering countries widely; as a result, this contributes to the exchange of cultural values of different countries, which has increased peoples’ understanding of one another. Besides, the modern transport system also partially contributes to the diversification of domestic consumer goods. For instance, coffee is said to be originally from Ethiopia and consumed in the Arabid region; nevertheless, due to commercial after 11th century, it is nowadays known as a globally consumed commodity. On the contrary, globalization is also a double-edged sword that may harm culture. Due to globalization, trade between countries becomes unequal as such dominated countries as US, UK, and German imposes ideas, values, and cultural expression developing countries. To be more specific, the over-introduction of other cultures can gradually lead to the loss of the national cultural identity inherent in each country.
