impact of vaccinations on the incidence of whooping cough, a childhood illness, between 1940 and 1990 in Britain 77RY
The graphs illustrate the fluctuation of whooping cough cases in Britain towards vaccine injection percentage over 50 years from 1940 to 1990. In general, it is shown how the reported cases had kept going down after the vaccine was initiated in mid-1955. Based on the graphs, it is noticeable that the highest cases in 1940 were almost 180, 000 as well as in 1950 and 1955. The cases were reported nearly top to 180, 000 and 160, 000 reciprocally when the vaccination was not invented yet. Although between 1940 and 1950, there were declining cases far to 60, 000 around 1945. In 1955 the vaccination firstly introduced, the cases dropped down below 20, 000 cases during 5 years from 1960 until 1970. Albeit, the cases started emerging once the vaccination was under 30% around late 1975. The case rocketed gradually up to 60, 000 in early 1980, while it had several fluctuations in the following years until 1990.
