A variety of interesting data concerning the amount of tourists visiting a specific Caribbean Island from 2010 and 2017, are revealed in the graph. They are measured in millions. The most significant fact is that the trend of the total number of tourists is upward. Moving to a more detailed analysis, the number of visitors staying on Island stood at 0, 25 million in 2010, while the visitors staying on cruise ships in the same year were more than the double (0. 75 million). Throughout the period the number for the former and latter categories rose. But, if the in the case of the former, after a high at 0, 5 million in 2011 and a low of again 0, 25 million in 2012, followed a marked increase in numbers, the amount of visitors staying on Island, first went up touching 1, 5 million in 2013, then experienced a plateau till 2015, and finally, after hitting a low in 2016, closed the period at 1, 5 million. Visitors on cruise, on the other hand, even if they started at a lower level when compared to the visitors staying on the island, ended at a much higher amount in 2017 (2 million). Concluding, the total number of tourists on the island witnessed a surge in numbers, starting at 1 million in 2010 and touching the incredible number of 3. 5 million in 2017.
