Health is a basic need of human beings and therefore healthcare facilities should not be owned by private parties. Do the advantages of the private sector hospital outweigh their dis advantages? gxDrA
There is no doubt that good health is important to leave a full filling life and some people feel that private hospitals and clinics should not be allowed to operate. Despite there being a couple of disadvantages, I am convinced that the merits offered by the private health care sectors are much more. This essay elaborates the same. There are a couple of negative aspects often associated with private health care. Of the many, the two noted criticisms are that they charge exorbitantly and the fact that such bodies often resort to unscrupulous practices. Firstly, private services are known to charge huge amounts of money for treatments and thus making it possible for only the rich to afford. Likewise, prescribing unnecessary treatments and involving in various rackets, for example, is what could be considered as a few setbacks. Nevertheless, even though there are certain setbacks like the above stated I am of the opinion that the advantages that the private hospitals offer are plentiful. The two reasons are availability and better facilities validate my viewpoint. Firstly, the healthcare needs of the people are so huge. In most countries, govt hospitals alone cannot manage to give care to all people who need medical care. This means that in times of emergencies example, earthquakes or outbreaks of any communicable diseases it would lead to a serious problem if a country does not have an adequate number of hospitals. Besides these private hospitals are known to have better facilities an ideal example I would like to put forward here, to substantiate my viewpoint is that of the latest treatment methodology and cleanliness and hygiene that such hospitals offer even though it is expensive. This is perhaps why I consider the advantages to be of a greater significance than the drawbacks My conclusion, therefore, is that the drawback of private hospitals cannot be sidelined. However, when we take into account the positive attributes(features) it is certainly more in number and conspicuous. This trend is likely to continue in future.
