Given are two graphs which illustrate the purchase of the computer ownership by people over the years from the year 2002 to 2010. Second graph shows the segregation of computer ownership by education level from the same year span as that of first graph.
The fascinating thing to notice is the steady increase over the years for the demand of computers in both the graphs. It has risen from above 45 percent in year 2002 to more than 75 percent in the year 2010. This increase in demand can be credited to
growing technology in the world opening doors for multiple opportunities for people to learn and work. When we look at the second graph, the highest jump in usage of computers in 2010 is observed in people who had no high school diploma in year 2002 giving a meteoric rise from 15 percent to 40 percent.
Whereas, similar trends are seen for students who have people who have not completed their college demonstrating a extraordinary spike in the graph from around 60 percent to close to 90 percent. While the students who have pursed Bachelor's and Postgraduate degree the adoption of computers have been large from the beginning,
there is growth seen even in that group as well.
To acclimatize, it is fair to say that owning a computer is not only seen in people who have good education but also in people who have no high school diploma or have dropped out of college. The fast pace of technology has made this possible to connect
the world faster day by day.
