The line graph illustrates the amount of 4 kinds of meat (chicken, lamb, meat and fish) consumed in a European country from 1979 to 2004. Units are measures in gram per person per week. Overall, chicken was highly eaten by the Europeans over the time period whereas beef and lamb consumed by Europeans have decline. Compared to the other three meats the consumption of fish by the people were less. Initially, 150 grams of chicken was consumed in 1979 which rose to nearly 250 grams by the final years. In terms of fish the consumption was merely over 50 grams in 1979 and it has reduced to below 50 in 2004. On contrast to this the consumption of beef and lamb were higher in 1979 and there has been a drop towards the year 2004, where 200 grams to nearly 100 grams and 150 grams to nearly 60 grams respectively.
