Global water use in domestic, industrial and agriculture sector from the year 1900 to 2000, water consumption per person in Brazil and Democrate Republic of Congo in the year 2000. In the year 1900, global water use in domestic and industrial sectors was 0 while in agricultural sector approximately 500km3. Till the year 1950, global water use in domestic and industrial sectors remain constant whereas in agricultural sector, slightly improved to 700km3. Further, from the year 1900 to 2000, global water use in domestic sector slowly increased to 200km3. Likewise, industrial sector also gradually raised to 1000km3. On the country, agricultural sector rapidly progressed to 3000km3. According to the table, in the year 2000, water consumption for individual was 359m3 in Brazil, out of 176 million population with 26, 500km3 irrigated land. On the flip side, 8m3 for 5. 2million, 100km2 in Congo. To summarize, in the given period, in global water use, agricultural sector stood first, followed by industrial and domestic sectors. Water consumption was extremely high in Brazil than Congo.
