The chart highlights data global sales of the top five mobile phone brands between 2009 and 2013. It can be seen that Nokia sold the most mobile phones between 2009 and 2013, but the highest sold in the period was for Samsung in 2013. In addition Samsung and Apple saw the buggest uses in sales over the five year period. It is clear from the graph that by 2009 Nokia mobile phones had be come a brand and the number of mobile phones sold close to 450 million which was almost double the number of handest sold by the second most successful manafacturer, Samsung. Over the four year covered by the graph, however, Nokia's sales figured feel by about 200 million units in 2013 while Samsung saw sales rise by a similar amount. By 2013, Samsung had reached a leader in the market, with sales of mobile phones reaching 450 million units. The other three top selling mobile phone brands between 2009 and 2013 were LG, ZTE and Apple. By 2013 the number of mobile phones sold by companies reached 125 million, 50 million 25 million, respectively, but Apple overtook the other two vendors in 2011.
