The data is taken from U. S. A. As can be seen from the first diagram, which demonstrates the average proportions of sodium in meals, a consumption of sodium is the highest for dinner being 43%. By eating lunch, 29 percent of sodium is consumed, while breakfast and snacks include an equal proportion (14%) of sodium. According to the data in the second diagram, dinner contains 37% of saturated fat, while a consumption of it is 26% for lunch and 21% for snacks and the lowest is for breakfast being 16%. The latest diagram shows the highest percentage of added sugar in meals. According to this, snacks contains the highest amount of added sugar being 42% and the second is for dinner being over a fifth, while 16% for breakfast. All in all, the highest percentage of the nutrients are consumed for breakfast, although a consumption of added sugar for snacks is higher than breakfast.
