Overall, the numbers of visitors to those 3 areas all increased significantly during that period and to be particular, Da Nang and Phu Quoc are almost always led in popularity, whereas Phu Quoc was the least prevalent choice for visitors in these years. In the first 2 years, there were a slightly decrease in the popularity of Da Nang, it received about 900, 000 in 2000 and 650, 000 in 2002, while visitor numbers to Phu Quoc and Mui Ne have a downward trend from 500, 000 and 300, 000 to 600, 000 and about 400, 000.
