The graphs below illustrate the trend in possessing electrical devices and the amount of time spent on family chores in a Nation during the period 1920 to 2019. Overall, the use of refrigerator increased substantially over the period given, while many people preferred to use washing machine in the beginning, which decreased for few years and rose again. Moreover, the use use of vaccum cleaner increased steadily over the years. On the other hand, umber of hours of chore per week, per family decreased rapidly between 1920 and 2019. With regards to the percentage of house work with electrical devices, percentage of chore using refrigerator rose dramatically over the next 60 years and remain stable after that, however, 30 per cent families started using washing machine in 1920 which climbed to 70 in next 40 years and droped to about 65 in next 20 year and rose again over next 40 years. However, the use of vaccum cleaner went up from being 30 percent in 1920 to 100 perent in 2000 and the number remain 100 percent in 2000 and the number remain 100 at the end of the period. In terms of number of hours per week per family the figures shows condiferable decline from being 50 in the beginning to as low as 10 in 2019.
