Describe changes over time shown on a map kWwmK
The maps illustrate some changes that were made to the Sunnyhill University campus between 1995 and the present day. As can be seen on the maps, there are some significant changes in the layout of the campus including the rearrangement of buildings and the erection of the new laboratories and art gallery. Originally, in the bottom right-hand corner, there was a sport complex which contains a football pitch, a gym and tennis courts but it is now replaced with the recreation area with trees and a pond. On the left side of the recreation area, there are new-build laboratories, which used to be the Scott Library, and one of the two small café. The other is combined with the Founder’s building. At present, the Scott library is now expanded and relocated to the right side of the Founder’s building. Moreover, the Founder’s building and the Watson building is reconstructed but still remain in the same place. The Main reception, which was merged with the Watson building, is now demolished, expanded and removed to the top left-hand corner of the campus. Currently, there is only one car park instead of two as before and it is surrounded by the Main reception, the Watson building and the gym. The Arts building is constructed and put into work in place of the old Halls of Residence, which is split in half and relocated to the left side of the campus. The final alternation was the relocation of the Students’ Union and the bus stop, which are moved to top right corner of the campus.
