The chart provides information about the overall number of Olympic medals, which are golden, silver, and, bronze, for twelve various countries. Overall, we can see the USA overrating all countries and having the biggest number of medals. Compare to China which is at the lowest point of the chart with a total number of medals around 500. The difference in the numbers of medals for European countries is not significant. Almost all of them have more or less 500 medals in total. The Soviet Union is on the second place with a total number of 1000 medals which is almost twice less than the USA. Asian countries have the least number of medals, for both, Japan and China, they have less than 500 medals overall. To sum it up, we can clearly see the USA's leading position for all medals with the greatest number, and most of the counties have around 500 medals in total.
