The line graph illustrates the consumption of three types of spreads: margarine, lowfet and reduced spreads, and butter in the years 1981 and 2007. Overall, it is clear seen that there were significant changes in the rates of margarine and lowfet and reduced spreads, whereas the figure of butter was erratic in the period given. Let's look at first the margarine, which was consumed about 90 grams in 1981. During the next 5 years there was a moderate decline to 80, but then rose steadily to 100. Although, the amount of margarine remained stable for a while, but it's consuming decreased slowly to the end of the period. In contrast, the number of butter was 140 in 1981. 1986 was the year that butter was utilized more than others. However, from 1981 onward the consuming of butter went down steeply to nearly 50 grams. Turning to lowfet and reduced spreads, they were started using from 1996. There was a rapid growth just above 80 during most periods, but also experienced a sharp fall in 2007, and was the least at the same time.
